Smoke is a real threat to life in an enclosed space such as an underground car park and also causes significant issues to fire fighters looking to deal with the fire. Fire Design Solutions smoke control systems are designed to rapidly remove smoke during and after a fire. In addition through the use of value engineering our systems typically achieve increased energy efficiency, space saving and cost benefits for our clients.

Our full smoke control systems aid safe escape and fire fighting access, providing a smoke free approach to within at least 10m of the seat of the fire - as recognised by the relevant British Standard (BS 7346-7:2006) relating to covered car parks for an enhanced fire fighting system.
