A Grand fire safety solution

FDS has provided Dublin's Grand Canal Square development with a comprehensive fire and smoke safety solution.

A significant architectural spectacle, it features luxurious office space, a 5-Star Le Meridien hotel and residences all which enclose a major Performing Arts Centre, designed by leading architect Daniel Libeskind with famed landscape architect Martha Schwartz creating the city's largest paved public square.

The contract comprised the company's innovative Fan Assisted Smoke Venting System (FAS). A tried and tested system, it is proven to rapidly remove smoke from a building, whilst keeping vital escape and access routes free.
